Anna Ricciardi Petrillo

Anna Ricciardi Petrillo, age 80, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in Houston, Texas. She was born October 3, 1933 to the late Pasquale and Giuseppina Antonucci Ricciardi in Dragoni, Caserta, Italy. Anna enjoyed sewing, knitting, and cooking but most of all loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Antonio, Giovanni, Giuseppe, Salvatore, Francesco, and Ferdinando; and sister, Maria, all of Italy.

Anna is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Carmine Petrillo; children, Ann Petrillo, Carmine (Angie) Petrillo, Joseph (Dorothy) Petrillo, all of Houston, TX; Giovanna (Philip) LaMonica of Niles, OH, and Anthony (Kathy) Petrillo of Youngstown, OH; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Rossinella Ricciardi; and brother, Vittorio Ricciardi of Dragoni, Caserta, Italy. She also leaves behind two very special people that were like her children, Luigi Attanasio of Toronto, Canada and Irene Occhibove of Youngstown, OH.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris St., Bellaire, TX 77401. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, March 21, 2014, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 6921 Chetwood Dr., Houston, TX 77081, followed by the Rite of Committal at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, TX.

A memorial mass will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 343 Via Mt. Carmel Ave., Youngstown, OH 44505.
