Aristeo (Alex) Carranza Jr. age 50, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 15, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Alex was an inspiration during his final months as he continued to put his faith, his family and his profession above himself. He was born on October 29, 1971, in Beeville, TX.
Officer Alex began his career with the Bellaire Police Department in 1999. He lived a life of service. His pride for his profession and commitment to his oath was on constant display each day. With an exemplary work ethic and intrepid positive attitude, he never failed to brighten a room with his presence. He was an amazing person and everyone who met him loved him. He served his community well, protected many, loved all. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Angleton. Alex will be missed by all that knew and loved him and we wait for the day to be reunited again.
Alex was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. Anyone who knew Alex knew that he was the most loving father, husband, Tito, stepdad, granddad and friend anyone could ask for.
He was preceded in death by his father, Aristeo Carranza. He is survived by his wife, Judy Carranza; son, Ian Carranza; daughter, Brianna Carranza; stepchildren, Stephanie, Valerie and Michael and grandchildren; mother, Clara Carranza; brother, Ruben Carranza; sister, Mirella Carranza and numerous loving relatives and friends.
