I looked often to try to find where Aristeo might be. I never knew where to find him. He was one of the best people I knew in high school. He was always well dressed and well groomed. He had a respectable and noble spirit. He never said anything offensive or vulgar. Even as a teen I  would be proud to have a son who was like him. I never knew him as Alex. Just Aristeo. He will be a warm memory for the rest of my life.

I’m so grateful for my friend in Christ. Alex has talked me off the ledge on several different occasions. I was always appreciative of his smile and loving personality.
Alex exhibited great patience as it relates to his job and fellow co-workers. I am honored to have known him and worked along side of him. He will always be in my heart.

We are very saddened to hear of Aristeo’s passing. We still remember him as our little cousin, Junito. Our Dad, Anibal (RIP) loved the Carranza family of Dilley.  There was a very special bond since our Ochoa grandmothers (Maria & Cleotilde) married the Carranza brothers (Alejandro & Hermilo). Even though we have not seen each other in years, we always kept in touch through Tia Cleotilde and now through your Aunts & Uncle Emilio. We send our condolences and prayers to all the Family, especially to Aristeo’s wife and children, his mother, Clara, Ruben and Mirella. Grew up in Jones Creek, my brother, sister & I rode  the same school bus as Aristeo & Ruben. Aristeo graduated with my sister from Brazosport. He was always a kind & good person.  Was saddened to hear of his passing. I look forward to seeing him again in Paradise. 

Rev 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

   I first met Aristeo when we were just junior high school kids. It has been my privilege to call him a friend for nearly forty years. Aristeo loved to talk and many of our conversations would often end in laughter.  His faith and his children were very important to him. And although he has left us far too soon, I know that he is at peace. I hope that his children and loved ones can take comfort in knowing that his name is in the Book of Life.

Aristeo will forever be the teen making us laugh while doing the Peewee Herman dance!  He had a wonderful heart and loving family.   He is now sleeping and awaiting the great day where pain will be no more: Revelation 21:4

I will never forget how many times Alex wanted to take us outdoors and get to know not just Bellaire but Angleton. He told us all the history and showed us all the cool places. My favorite was getting to know Angleton while we rode in the Polaris. He was always happy to share it with us.  
You made us forget about our phones and focus on the bigger picture. ❤️

Carranza was an intense individual, especially when meeting him the first time.  Once you got to know him, to know his sense of humor, and spent some time talking to him you realized what good man he was.  He was never too busy to help out, regardless of the task or prior obligations.  He was always too happy to teach you what he knew about his job.  The way he saw it, the more officers he could train up, the better.  We would joke about his 'OCD' for procedures and organizational habits, but he was simply dedicated to doing it right the first time, every time.  Even though he would come to me with frustrations about arrest reports or booking errors, he always had a joke.  If he was around for rollcall, he  had a joke.  If he caught you outside the courtroom, inevitably he was gonna rib you a little bit about something.  I will definitely miss that. I feel blessed to have known him.  Rest in Peace brother; we'll take it from here.

I have alot of great memories with Aristeo.  Some of my best memories I have with my brother in Christ are the times we worked together and were able to fellowship with each other.  Sharing our love for God, encouraging each other and praying for each other at times of need. During our last recent visit he spoke of how he wanted to thank me for getting him through some difficult times in his life. I told Aristeo it wasn't me but God, who blessed us both with sharing our life's experiences 🙏, testimonies, and trials which helped us both. We will all definitely miss you, and I know one day we will see each other once again in Glory. Love your brother, David, 

I met him before I married his uncle back in the 80’s.It was easy to enjoy him,because he love singing,also acting dramas.
  The song he would sing was,”Flor morena”!
His version of “Guadalajara”!
  He has made a mark in my life forever!
  I will see him again in paradise!Until then!

I got to know Alex while working at Earthman Bellaire, because he helped us with traffic control for our Halloween drive through “Trunk or Treat”. He had so much fun pretending to give me a parking ticket while dressed up as a 1950s Greaser. I was inspired by Alex for two main reasons: he was totally at peace and he was very driven, despite the severity of his condition. In private conversations with me during his own pre-planning, he told me he is able to be fearless about death because he is at peace with God’s mission for his life. He also told me how deeply he loves his wife and family, and this drove him to never give up, retire, or tone life down a notch. As soon as I met him, he left me with the impression he was able to live life at 100% because his tank was perpetually filled by this love.

My Heart & Most Deepest Condolences Go Out To The Carranza  Family. Alex Will Be Remembered For The  Kind & Gentle Soul He Was & Is. He Will Live On In Your Hearts Forevermore.  

I spent my summers as a youth with Aristeo Jr. and his brother Ruben hunting for rabbits in Dilley, Tx while they were down visiting their grandmother, Cleotilde Carranza (my Aunt). My Dad and their Dad, may they both rest in peace, would drive us around the back roads of South Texas while we rode in the back looking and shooting rabbits. We would then all three have to dress and clean them so my Aunt could cook them. Those were some of the best summers of my youth. Aristeo Jr. you will be missed dearly. You will not be forgotten! Rest in Peace Primo!!!
