Betty L. Rubin, 81, beloved Mother, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011. She was a professional violinist for over 40 years and graduated from the U of H, receiving her Masters degree in Social Work, at the age of 67. Betty is survived by her daughter, Samaar and son, David. Virtuous and kind, she will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, Sunday, August 21, 2011 in the Chapel of Levy Funeral Directors, 4525 Bissonnet Blvd., Bellaire, TX. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Betty's name to the Alzheimer's Association , 2242 West Holcombe Boulevard, Houston, TX 77030.
