

Bonnie Tom Manning departed this Life on November 12, 2016 and was born on February 17, 1922 to William and Eran Hinton in a rural part of Mississippi. She was the next youngest of 12 children. They lived on a large farm with other families as share croppers. She worked at the Post Exchange at Camp Shelby in Mississippi where she met Henry K. Tom. Henry had two children, Shirley Lane and Henry K. Tom, Jr. from a previous marriage. Bonnie and Henry had two children, Ronald and Priscilla Talley. Henry died on October 15, 2000.
She had a quick wit, spoke her mind as she saw it, and could crack jokes. She did a lot but will be remembered for what she did for others. She lived most of her life in Bellaire/Houston and enjoyed travelling the world. She spent 16 years at University Place where she met Earl Manning. They were married on January 18, 2002. Earl died on September 16, 2005.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, and her spouses, Henry K. Tom, and Earl Manning. Bonnie is survived by Henry K. Tom Jr., Shirley Lane, Ronald Tom and wife Pauline, and Priscilla Talley and husband James; four grandchildren, Melissa Tom, Tami Tom Zeiner, Ronda Tom, Frederick Talley and seven great grandchildren, Andrew Furrer, Zachary Zeiner, Ethan Zeiner, Orrin Talley, Maeve Talley, Eamon Talley. She is also survived by numerous other loving relatives and a host of friends. Bonnie would say that words will pass but relationships are what really count.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM., Wednesday, November 16, 2016, with a viewing beginning at 9:00 AM, at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris St., Bellaire, TX 77401.
