Carl Seltzer of Houston, Texas passed away on October 16, 2011. He was born on October 9, 1918 in Houston, Texas to David and Lena Seltzer of blessed memory and was preceded in death by his sister, Bertha Seltzer Pollack of blessed memory.
Carl was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army and received the Bronze Star Medal. He retired from the City of Houston where he served more than 30years. Carl was an active member in the Jewish Veterans of Foreign War.
He is survived by his sons Steven and wife Arlene, Jimmy and wife Johnette and Davvid Seltzer. He is also survived by his four grandchildren Brandon, Britney, Jessica and Jared Seltzer.
The Seltzer family would like to thank The Medallion staff for their endless support and care. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 3 p.m. in the Emanu El Memorial Park at 8341 Bissonnet.
