I am so sorry about your dad's passing.  Your dad and I really had a good time when we were growing up on Winsome.  I had talked to your dad a couple of years ago and he sounded fine.  I think I still have some pictures of your mom and dad when they came to my wedding. Lots of love David

I also would like to add a note to Linda Sue.  As long as I have known Carl, I had never seen him happier than he was with Linda.  She put a light in his eyes and a spring in his (two) step :) The love and mutual respect  they shared was obvious to all who knew them.  I am thankful for the hope and the promise that they can meet again in eternity.

Lennie and I  are so saddened by your loss.  When we met Carl we immediately loved his humor and personality. I always visited him every chance he was home. I never knew why I went to his house, but I always had an excellent time with him. I was in mexico when I got the news about him, i was devastated. i looked up to him, he taught me so much. Carl was my neighbor on Oak Crest for the past 23 years and I will always cherish his friendly smile, his great pears, our driveway chats, and cold beers. My deepest sympathy to Chris, Jennifer, & family.

I knew him in high school, but we had remained friends all these years since. I moved away, but he was always there for me when I returned for visits. I enoyed hearing about his children and grands, as well as reliving old, and good times. I was deeply saddened about his passing, but as always, he did it "his way". We'll all miss you...

I worked at Buffalo Hardware from 84 to 92 , I remember him coming in always in a jovial and positive mood. I was saddened to hear of his passing . He will definitely be missed . He was always the same ....honest.

Your Dad was such a character and everyone loved him. His dry sense of humor entertained many!! The women loved dancing with him and the men, b.s.ing with him. He always lit up whenever he spoke of you and his grandchildren. We feel blessed to be a part of his life. We will miss him more than words can say.

Carl, you were the one that kept the "trains running" at Post Oak Little League. Presidents, commissioners and coaches came and went, but you were always the constant in ensuring the fields were ready to play.  I have always admired how much quiet pride you had in your craft and the pleasure that you received in knowing the players were out on your fields. I also loved working with you this past season, and I know you loved working at POLL over the past 20 years. We will miss you tremendously. God bless and rest in peace.

Carl, you quietly left us just like you always did with the fields at POLL.  You worked quietly in the background and would slip away before the games actually began, touching so many lives and many never even knew who you were yet you touched so many.  You pulled off so many miracles getting the fields ready for games and playoffs when others would have said no way.  You were an extremely kind man who knew more history about POLL and always had fun stories about the past.  Thank you for all you did for my family and all of the POLL family.  You cannot be replaced and you will certainly be remembered for your love of game and making sure our boys had great fields to play on.  Thank you and god bless!

I respect Carl as much as I respect my father. They were both successful businessmen because they practiced integrity over profits every single day of the year. As a result Carl was able to run a successful business for over 35 years without spending a nickle on advertising!

Carl was a beloved customer of Allegiance Bank Texas and we all knew him from Sterling as well. He was a weekly fixture and we will all miss his wit and charm.

Carl was the "Backbone" for the Post Oak Little League!  He diligently prepared the fields for play for thousands of young boys and families, even after a heavy rain storm on a late Friday afternoon.  Through his dedication to POLL, Carl kept us all on schedule and he will be GREATLY missed.  Carl's wonderful "can do" attitude and "heart felt" desire to please, made him a friend to everyone.  God Bless to our friend and Team member, Carl!

Carl was a great man! He was the heart and soul of Post Oak little league! He was the man who made everything happen there on a day to day basis and helped make the league what it is today! He will be missed by the Post oak community and the many lives that he touched! I am a much better person because of Carl! I will trully miss him!

Dear Chris and Jennifer, 

 I knew your Dad through the dance community in Houston. He was always a gentleman, and had many friends who adored him. We will miss his mischievous grin and his  fun sense of humor.   He always spoke lovingly of his children and grandchildren - his pride and his joy.
