

Charles Wuestner passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 24th 2010. He was born on October 28th 1923 in St. Louis, Mo., the youngest of 6 children. He served his country during World War II in The Army Air Force, and attended Washington University in St. Louis, obtaining Bachelor and Master of Arts Degrees, before marrying his wife of 57 years. He has resided in Houston for the past 48 years. He is survived by his wife Marilyn, son Duane and wife Melinda, daughter Elizabeth and partner Karol, and daughter Emily. He is also survived by his grandchildren Arman Gemelo and wife Michelle, Shelly Goode, Kathryn and Laura Wuestner, great-granddaughter Ashley Downs, and a host of other relatives, neighbors and church friends. There will be a visitation at Earthman’s Bellaire Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Monday November 29th at 10:30 am in the sanctuary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5531 Beechnut, Houston, Texas. A reception at the church will follow the ceremony. Interment will be private. His children wish to thank Tessie Abello for her kindness and devotion to their parents over the past 4 years, allowing them to stay in their home as long as they did.
