On November 5, 1969, Craig was born in Austin, TX to Carolyn Craig and Butch Novy. He was cherished by his parents. As he first grandchild on both sides, Craig enjoyed the undivided attention and love of Jack and Olive Craig and Hyman and Frances Novy. Upon becoming a brother to Barry, the family was filled with love and joy in their Meyerland home. As a youth, Craig enjoyed sports, entrepreneurship, being with his friends, entertaining the family, and living life to its fullest
Craig graduated from Bellaire High School and earned a college degree in business from the University of Houston. He was blessed with a remarkable ability to sell anything, which translated into successful careers within money management and real estate. He courageously dealt with health issues and despite suffering chronic back pain, Craig was an active member within the community and always sought to help others in need. He found joy and strength in religion and in the comfort of family, friends, and his rescue dogs. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 18, 2021 due to natural causes.
His grandparents and his uncle, David Novy, predeceased him. He is survived by his parents, Carolyn Craig, and Butch Novy; his brother, Barry Novy; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private, graveside service was held at Congregation Beth Israel Memorial Garden.
