David L. Delony

David L. Delony, 92, was born July 23, 1922 at Charco, Texas in Goliad County. He passed from this life on May 26, 2015 in Houston, Texas. A U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, he graduated from the University of Texas with an electrical engineer degree and was an employee of Houston Lighting and Power for 32 years.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Addell C. Delony, sons Jim (Pat), Bill (Debbi), and Bob (Mikee), and daughter Jane Fitzgerald (Tom). In addition, there are eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren and one brother James C. Delony.

There will be a visitation Saturday, May 30 at 10:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM at the West University Church of Christ, 3407 Bissonnet, Houston, TX 77005 where David and Addell had attended for 65 years. Burial will be at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
