David A. Grega

David graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania located in Clarion, PA where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Computer Science with minors in Mathematics and Business Administration. He was a commendable student, as exemplified not only by his academic standing but his involvement in numerous student organizations.

Shortly after college David began work for cPanel, a software development company, and eventually relocated to Houston, TX from Whitehaven, PA, to continue working for them. He completed nearly six years of employment with cPanel. David was an avid lover of technology and was passionate about training employees and others alike. He happily shared his knowledge to anyone willing to learn. His tagline was “I hope to be wherever you need me to be.”

David was an active member of the Pagan community and was involved in the Pagan Spirit Gathering, an annual gathering celebration. Not only did David celebrate the Pagan faith, he also covered events, rituals, and activities for the Pagan media.

David was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Grega.

Also surviving are a girlfriend, Kat, and her daughter, Mallory; an uncle, John Grega and wife, Mary; aunts, Diane Konefel, Donna Marie Grega and Donna Marie Daquieno and husband, Stephen; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Two memorial services will be held in David’s honor. His family is holding a service at Strauch Funeral Home on July 21, 2012, 3 First Street, Springbrook Twp, PA 18444. A gathering will take place from 1-2 pm; the service will commence at 2 pm. A second service is being held by his employer at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home on July 28, 2012, 6700 Ferris St, Bellaire, TX 77401. The service will start at 3 pm.
