David Roman Vijil passed on May 10, 2026, at the age of 63; he was born on January 13, 1963, in New Orleans, Louisiana. David worked proudly for many years in retail with Walmart, and more recently with Mondelez International. David was deeply Roman Catholic. He believed strongly in the power of the Rosary, and was happy to share string rosaries he made by hand with friends old and new.
David was easy-going in a unique way, maybe because he always knew his priorities so well. He was a great brother, and was loyal and steady to his close friends, Thank you, David.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 6921 Chetwood Drive, Houston, TX, on June 18, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
