

Debbie was born in Brownsville, Texas on the 27th of December, 1964 to George C. Weaver and Virginia A. Weaver. She was preceded in death by her father, George C. Weaver, who passed on the 25th of February, 2015.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Bourgeois, her daughters Madeleine, Allison and Julianne Bourgeois, mother Virginia A. Weaver, brother Michael G. Weaver and wife Irene, sisters Patricia W. Moreno, Georgina Moreno, Virginia Lucio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of Houston in December, 2014. Debbie was dedicated to the way of Positive Psychology. She saw it as the way to help people by affirming the positive things in life theirs lives. Debbie led an extremely active life, she loved woodworking, fishing and enjoyed being on the water. She created the environment that her family thrived in.
Debbie was a best friend, confident and mother to her girls, Maddie, Allie and Jules. She was the best friend and soul mate to her husband, Ken.
She was a friend, companion and soul mate for too many people to mention here. Debbie will be remembered. She talked about returning as an elephant – that way, there would be no doubt that it’s her…
Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary beginning at 7:30 p.m., Friday, September 4, 2015 and Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, September 5, 2015, both at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, TX 77025.
