Don D’Entremont passed away on April 10, 2018, in Houston, Texas. He was 83. Mr. D’Entremont was born on June 4, 1934 in Quincy, MA to his parents, Ralph and Cecilia D’Entremont. He graduated from Northeastern University in Massachusetts with a degree in Engineering. After college, Don joined the Army reserves where he served his country as a cartographer. Don married Marty Klashman in 1984. They moved to the Houston area in 2000 after his retirement. Prior to retiring, Don worked as a draftsman for Textron. Mr. D’Entremont loved the outdoors. He thoroughly enjoyed white water canoeing. He was a class IV and enjoyed teaching others. Don was an avid hiker. He hiked all of the 4,000 foot peaks in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Drumming was another hobby which Don enjoyed. He would always been seen keeping the beat on the table to music. Discussing the stars, planets and the potential of intergalactic space travel either in an astronomy club or by reading science fiction were other passions. Don D’Entremont is survived by his wife Marty Klashman, sister Dona Bowsher, stepson Robert Sacks and wife Cristina Presifilippo, stepdaughter Michele Croft and husband Wayne Croft and stepson Mark Sacks and wife Sue Sacks; and six grandchildren Michael and Jason Croft, Nastasia and Alexandre Sacks, Matthew and Jake Sacks. He is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Cecilia D’Entremont. A funeral is scheduled for Friday, April 13, 2018 at Beth Yeshurun Cemetery 1307 N. Post Oak Road, Houston at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at the home of Marty Klashman 4006 Breakwood Drive, Houston. The family will be attending services at United Orthodox Synagogue 9001 Greenwillow Street on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday at 7:30 PM. A minyan will be led by Rabbi Lobel and Ralph Katz on Tuesday, April 17 at 7:00 PM at the home of Wayne and Michele Croft, 3026 Great Lakes Ave., Sugar Land.
