I am sorry of your family's loss. My father worked with him at Ed Allen's office. When the Shamrock was closed for customers we would play the bowling machine game. One time while a group of his friends were camping my lawn chair collapsed and I started to fall into the fire pit. He grabbed me by the back of my clothes and saved me from the fire. He was truly a good person.

So Sorry to hear.  I have great memories of Mr. Blain when I was growing up.  He was always watching a baseball game every time I came over.  Our prayers are with your family.

Carla and Danny won't remember me, and Mary you may not either.  I knew Dwain from bowling, he offered me a job on his survey crew and he was the first Party Chief I ever worked under, and Jerry Timmins was the instrument man.  That was 1971, no better way to start a career than working under those two.  Jerry called me the other day with the news.  Over the years I have thought of Dwain more than you'd think and that only happens when you've known someone who is genuine and caring.  Thanks Dwain, you were a true friend.

Prayers and condolences for Mary and family.  Linda and I will miss him as a friend and colleague.  Thanks for the lessons on the crap tables in Vegas.  We will miss you.

I first met Dwain Blain in 2008 when he started contract work at Hess Oil Company. His contract required a sponsor and after talking with him, I quickly submitted my sponsorship. He work at Hess for about four years and a company could not find a more dedicated, hardworking person. Dwain worked for a different group and on a different floor but I would try to stop by his office every week, if possible. Our conversations were mostly about work but often we talked about family and friends. I always had a lot of respect for Dwain and how much he loved his family. My prayers go out to his family and friends. He will be missed by so many people.

I am saddened by Dwain's passing.  I appreciate the time we spent with y'all.  I will remember him as a kind and generous individual who truly loved you and your family.  He is not gone, but is transitioned to another dimension.  His love will be with you forever.

I briefly worked directly with Dwain in the mid-90's and it was a great experience.  He was a very smart and hard working man, and I learned a lot from him. I know he deeply cared about his family and he always treated others with respect.  I am very sorry to hear of his passing.

I'm so sorry for your loss. The death of a loved one can truly be a devastating time. Whenever I experience trying times like this, I think of Phillipians4:6,7 where it encourages us to turn to God in prayer and he will give us "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." I was so sorry to hear of Dwain's passing. He was such a great guy and always made me laugh. I got to know Dwain through Symtronix. He talked often about his wife and family. I always looked forward to seeing Dwain. He always had kind words and everyone enjoyed him. He will truly be missed. God bless his wife, children and grand children. Dwain will always be with you in your memories and live long in the stories you will tell about him.

I've known Dwain and Mary for many years now. I met Mary while taking art lessons from Genie Askins. The one thing that I noticed above all others about Dwain was his love for his family. He just adored all the children.  I was invited to join some of their family gatherings. The most respected place in each gathering was near Grandpa.

Mary,   Words cannot describe all the thoughts and feelings during this time, but I am thankful everyday for knowing Dwain.  He was a mentor to me early in my career and I thank God and Dwain for my blessings.  He is remembered as a  man that would do anything for his friends and family, especially his grandchildren and the love of his life, Mary.  As he told me many times "love it when a plan comes together" and he always looked forward to his trips to Vegas! I will miss him.

Mary, Carla and Danny our prayers are with you and your families.  We will miss Dwain greatly.  He had a great life and his love for Mary and his family was tremendous.  He will always be in our memories.  So very sorry for your loss.
