(We called her Grandma Edna) I grow up on 9622 Shady Tree Lane, only 2 houses down. She was the sweetest person. My Memories: She would gather all of us kids that would be playing in the street and gave us candy. She would go to check her mailbox and we would run to her and gave her a BIG HUG. She was always happy. I will forever hold the good memories in my heart. RIP Grandma Edna Negy ...

You were there for your mother when she was lonely,..you extended a listing ear when she wanted to chat....and she loved to chat ...you were there for her for every doctor appt., for every hair appt. ...when she craved her special food or wanted carry out...you made sure she had it. She loved going to Luby's with you but more than anything Bennie, she loved your relationship with God. She shared so often how you witnessed to the broken by sharing the gospel with complete strangers... She was so proud of her Bo. She recently shared with me how you shared your unwavering love for the Lord to a woman in a restaurant ... Your mother would beam when she spoke of you and oh how she loved you so. You were an amazing son until she took her last earthly breath. God would say... Well Done my child...WELL DONE.
