Elizabeth Ann Schubert

Elizabeth Ann Schubert, 77, passed away July 30, 2011 in Houston, TX. She was born in San Antonio, TX, June 23, 1934 and graduated from W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi, TX in 1953. Liz was an accomplished Avon Representative for over 35 years. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Houston for over 40 years. Liz never met a stranger, loved to travel, play the slots and go to the movies.

Liz was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Frances Smith; brothers, George, Bill and Walter; sisters, Bertha and Frances. She is survived by her husband, Zane Schubert of 55 years; sister, Margaret Sheppard and husband Luke; son, Anthony Schubert and wife Helen; daughters, Elizabeth Caron and husband Phillip, and Frances Spivey and husband Gary. She was also a proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren: Daniel Schubert and Leigh Ann Schubert; Jennifer Stork and husband Jarrett, daughters Jaley and Jansyn; Heather Willmann and husband Adam, son Reed; Melissa Wright and Justin, son Kody; Hannah and Hope Spivey. She is also survived by 2 sisters-in-law, Edie Smith and Emma Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9900 Stella Link Rd., Houston, TX 77025. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
