Elva Lucille Wilson

Elva was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was the ultimate caregiver – always there to lend a hand. She loved to cook, entertain family and friends, and watch her grandchildren and great grandchildren in a wide range of activities. She also loved playing games and traveling.

Elva was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Sparwasser, Sr and grandson Rhett Kruse. She leaves behind her husband of 31 years, Floyd Wilson. She is also survived by her brother James Whitehurst and wife Pat; daughter Lynn Goodnight and husband Tom; daughter Linda English and husband Ken; son Harry Sparwasser, Jr and wife Robin; daughter Janice Kruse and husband Sam; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 4-6pm at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home. Services will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012 at 10:30am at Willow Meadows Baptist Church, 4300 W. Bellfort St. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
