Eugene Thomas Cole passed away on October 31, 2021, having lived 88 years of life to their fullest. Tom was born September 11, 1933 to Mary Pearl Ferguson Cole and Harry Bruce Cole. He was preceded in death by his dearly loved wife, Joyce Hoke Cole, and is survived by his beloved girls, daughter Amy Barile, and granddaughter Stella.
Tom was a proud patriot and army veteran, an avid traveler, historian, and reader. He was a loving and patient husband, father and grandfather, and a wonderful friend to people from every walk of life. He never shied away from adventure and was well known and loved for his quick wit, intellect, and dry humor.
Tom will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.
Church and graveside services will be held Friday, November 5th, at 11 o'clock at Bays Chapel UMC, 24790 Bays Chapel Rd. Richards, TX, 77873, with a luncheon to follow.
There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, November 6th, from 2-5 at Don Rey Restaurant, 8767 S. Gessner Rd. Houston, TX 77074
