Evelyn Rigoni Schreck, age 87, passed away June 2, 2011 in Houston, Texas after a brief illness. She was born in Lockport, Illinois to Sant and Hilda Rigoni. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart in Lockport, Illinois and Providence High School in Joliet, Illinois. She was a Master Bridge player. She volunteered for several years with the Multiple Sclerosis Society. She enjoyed travelling and fishing with her husband; and doted on her granddaughters. She had a generous spirit and was loved by many. Evelyn is survived by her son John Schreck and wife Page, three granddaughters, Kristen Pereira, Emily Schreck, and Melissa Schreck, and her sister Lavergne Leonard. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Schreck Sr., her sons Robert and Philip Schreck, and her brother Lee.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 6th at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10330 Hillcroft, Houston, TX. 77096.
