Frances was my best friend while attending college at SWT in San Marcos. She and I shared our first apartment and many adventures together! So many of my memories of Fran are associated with the music of those years but especially James Taylor's "Fire and Rain" and "You've Got a Friend." God certainly knew what he/she was doing when he brought Fran and Mark together! What a love story! My hope is for Fran and her family to be at peace! Love you, Fran and Mark!

Fran was one of the first people I met in L&D when I was hired there. It was intimidating to be surrounded by so many people who had more experience than me but, Fran was laid back, funny and helpful. She wouldn't be bullied by doctors if she knew she was right. She was strong and smart. You couldn't help but like her.
She told great stories about Mark's word "bug" and how it caused no end of disruption. There were great parties, one in which Fran was dressed as a Q-tip. She was one of a kind. She was part of my life and will stay in my memory.
