Francis Doolittle Parmer, Jr. died peacefully with family August 31, 2017. He served his world with his spiritual gifts of teaching, preaching and living faith. He also inspired others with his positive uncomplaining attitude until the day he died.
He was an inspiration to many people. He served in WWII as one of the first radar operators in the Air Force. He was a gifted and charismatic orator and loved sharing his faith through the Gideon Organization for 60 years, the Star of Hope Mission for 40 years, Houston prisons and churches even after a paralyzing stroke.
He was preceded in death by his adored wife of 70 years Dorothy. He will be missed by his three daughters: Pat Williams (Robert), Linda Parmer, and Taylor Eileen Kaufman (Daniel), his grandchildren: Blake, Anthony and Lindsay Williams and Lori Sinner (Rick), great grandchildren: Megan and Caleb Sinner and Benjamin Williams and Beloved Caretaker of 9 years Rudy Gonzales (Nellie) and children Daniel, Gabriel and Natalie.
