He was preceded in death by his parents Sonia and Julius Grogin and his wife Helene Goldstein Grogin. Gerald is survived by his children Gary Grogin, Gail Grogin Elconin, Courtney Grogin-Dieckman and grandchildren Bailey Dieckman, Garrett Elconin and Brooke Elconin.
Gerry graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in mechanical engineering and was a lifelong Aggie booster. He especially loved Aggie football.
He founded and owned Servall Mechanical Contractors for over 30 years.
A graveside service will be held Monday, December 30, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Emanu El Memorial Park, 8341 Bissonnet St, Houston, TX 77074.
