I was just informed of Jack's passing. My heart sank - but I was quickly lifted by laughter at the memories of Jack. He was the most hope-filled person. Genuine. Caring. Always quick to pick someone else up- and laugh at himself - a humble man. So very proud of his kids and community ! He touched thousands of lives - Rest In Peace my friend - you set a great example.  A life well lived -

Jack was such a great guy.  He always had a kind word and an exciting personality.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

We were always talking about where the future would bring us business wise but we always enjoyed a lot of laughs along the way.

Jack, May you rest in peace. I am so sorry to hear of your passing.

A good friend lost to us too soon. It was nice to be able to catch up with you on Facebook after all these years since High School and college. I will miss your upbeat comments and true caring for others. May you live on in the hearts of your children and grandchildren.

I had the pleasure of engaging weekly in Torah study with Jack.  I always enjoyed his enthusiasm and interest.  Obviously a man of principle and character.  I am so deeply saddened to see his life at an end way too soon.

My deepest condolences to Jack's family.  He touched a lot of peoples' lives and will always be remembered fondly.

Although Jack and I graduated Peabody High School together we were not friends until recently when we found each other on Facebook and realized we shared many things, especially our love of music.  I am shocked and stunned and  my heart goes out to your family and close friends.  I know you will be missed by many. Your happy spirit was so evident to me, even though it was only through Facebook.

What a great man. Enjoyed teaching with you my friend.

I am proud to say I was one of Jack's "kids" from his BBYO years.  He touched and helped form so many people to become Jewish communal professionals and/or Jewish community activists.  Always a smile on his face and love in his heart - especially for his girls and grandkids.  He will be greatly missed.  May his memory be a blessing.

Jack we've been friends since you first came to New Orleans and in a way we grew up together. You began your career as a photographer in our PopUp gallery and you took off from there. I write this in the present tense - you will always be with me. Your enthusiasm and love of friends and of life set the bar high for all of us

We will miss your great attitude and creative ideas.  You were a great business man and a great friend!!!
