

James B. Trimble was born February 24, 1946 to Charles and Eleanor Trimble and passed away in Houston on October 22, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife's parents, his only brother Stewart, and his brothers-in-law John Bordes, Jr. and William Korbakis. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nancy Trimble and five sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law as well as 13 nieces and nephews.
Jim was raised in Urbana, Illinois where he graduated from Urbana High School and the University of Illinois. Jim spent many years in the banking business in Houston and Chicago. He enjoyed skiing and hiking at his home in Telluride, Colorado and traveling with his wife Nancy. When in Houston, he enjoyed playing tennis at the Houston City Club, managing his family farm in Illinois and spoiling his Springer Spaniel. During his long illness, Jim was always amused by the visits of his nephew’s family especially 5-year-old Emily.
Our family wishes to thank our wonderful caregivers, Libenesh Lemu, Sidisie Bungula, Betel Bungula, Gemta Tessema and Elizabeth Denta. Their excellent care helped our family through a difficult time.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 2140 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX on November 11, 2016 at 10:30 AM, with a viewing beginning an hour before.
