I have the fondest of memories of Girl Scouts and canoeing with Jane Doerr and Delores Nester as our leaders. We were a lucky group to know such a caring and loving woman.

All of our prayers for the Doerr family. My wife, Sue, had met Jane as one of the BSF leaders, but I hadn't until 'the Sheep Lady' was suggested as a guest for Gethsemane UMC's Bible Study group in the mid-'80s. Later, I realized that it was only one of Jane's many areas of outreach to others ... a wonderful Christian woman in every respect. We were honored to have known her ...

To Kathleen, Shannon, Amy, David, Robert and Ted, We met Jane through your wonderful family gatherings. We are deeply saddened that we only talked to her briefly and yet she showed us such a beautiful spirit through her stories, she shared with us. We well always keep these fond memories in our hearts. Love, The Angells.
