

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Jerry Burton Raymond Sr., who left us peacefully on December 11, 2025 at the age of 85. He was a pillar of strength as a Christian man, a beacon of wisdom, and a source of endless love and support for his family and friends.
Born on August 14,1940, Dad grew up in Wichita, Kansas, where he cultivated the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion that he carried with him throughout his life. For 60 years, Dad was a devoted husband to Sue Raymond, a loving father to Tracy Madsen, Jerry Raymond Jr., and Chris Raymond, Grandfather to Justin Susaraba, Alexis Raymond, Gianna Raymond, Bella Raymond, Grandson Zachary Burton Villani-Raymond, and a cherished friend to many.
Dad is preceded in death by his Father Emmett Raymond, Mother Margaret Raymond, Sister Bobbie Tigner, Grandson Chaz Susaraba, and Son in Law Kenny Madsen.
Dad had an unwavering passion for the Lord, and he found joy in building classic Hot Rods and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and he touched countless lives with his selfless acts and unwavering spirit.
We will remember Dad for his laughter, his warm embrace, and his wise counsel. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and an indomitable spirit that will continue to inspire us all.
A celebration of Dad's life will be held on December 18, 2025 at Atascocita Methodist Church, where we will gather to honor his memory and share stories of the wonderful man he was.
