Jimmie Lee Weeks

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Jimmie Lee went with God on May 9, 2010. Born in Amarillo, TX on September 5, 1921 to John and Myrtle Herndon. She moved with her family to Uvalde, TX and lived there until married. She was married to William Bryson for 30 years and to Harvey Weeks for 20 years. Jimmie and Bill had 2 children, Susan and Kenneth. She was a resident of Houston for many years and a charter member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church. She also lived in Somerville, TX and Caldwell, TX where she leaves behind many cherished friends. Jimmie is survived by her daughter Susan Allison and husband Richard, her son, Kenneth Bryson and wife Sue, grandchildren, Kenneth Bryson and wife Michelle, Kelly Bryson and wife Tansy, Kimberly Gray and husband Mark, Richard Allison and Christopher Allison and 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill Bryson, husband, Harvey Weeks, brothers Wilson Herndon and J.L. Herndon, sisters, Jacqueline McDonald and Winona McDonald. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 11 am at Earthman Funeral Home in Bellaire, TX. The officiate will be Reverend Rick Myers of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church.
