Linda Ann Richardson

Linda Richardson Of Venetia, PA formerly of Hurricane West Virginia, Houston Texas, and Birmingham Alabama, age 65 died February 5, 2012, at Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born December 5, 1946, in Birmingham, AL, the daughter of the late Ernest and Louise (Starr) Mitchell. Beloved wife of the late John Richardson. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Jackie (Kent) Hlavinka and Gary Hlavinka, with whom she resided; siblings, Earnestine Abbott, Ricky Mitchell and his wife Debra, and Evonne Hale; grandchildren, Christina, Kimberly, and John Hlavinka; and a great-grandbaby on the way.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sara Phillips.

Linda was a loving mother and grandmother and will always be remembered as a dedicated caregiver. She loved her animals and fondly referred to them as her babies. When Linda was not busy looking after her family, she enjoyed waterskiing and cooking.

Visitation will be held at Levy Funeral Directors, 4525 Bissonnet, Bellaire Texas, Friday February 10, 2012 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Levy Funeral Directors, Saturday February 11, 2012 at 12:30 pm with entombment following at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
