Mary Alice & I were Pledge Sisters in Alpha Phi; and then later in Houston, we shared some happy times together. Most recently at our Founders Day dinner last November. She was a very special lady; and my memories of her will always be with a great fondness. My deepest sympathy to all who knew and loved her.

When a friendship goes back over 55 years, it is special, and just in the last 3 years to have been able to reconnect at special Houston events we hope was as special for Mary Alice as it was for us. Remembering the good times.

Therese and Mike, I can't begin to tell you how very sorry I am about your Mom's passing. She was such a help and a wonderful support to me while I was in and out of Houston with my cancer treatments. It was good to revive the friendship that we shared when our families were all together. May God bless all of you and keep you strong and give you comfort, as only He can do. My love to you all.
Your Aunt Jo

Therese and Mike, your mother was a wonderful woman and she will be deeply missed. She was a second mother to me and as Clarissa says, the closest thing to a grandmother she had. Her passing has left a tremendous void in all our lives.
