Mary Alice Gloria

Mary Alice Gonzales Gloria passed away peacefully into the loving arms of our heavenly Father on November 8, 2025. She was born in Lorado, Texas on September 22, 1923, to Eugene Gonzales and Guadalupe Zermeno Gonzales.

Mary Alice was a beloved wife to Roy for 55 years until his death. She stood by the words, "Every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord"—Philippians 2:10-11

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy Mendez Gloria Sr.; son, Roy Gloria Jr.; granddaughter Patricia Martinez; Sisters: Gloria Cardona, Ophelia Ramirez, Minerva Gonzales and Brother Raymond Gonzales Sr.; Son In Law Renee Garcia; Daughters In Laws: Rosie (Roy) Gloria; Leticia (Paul) Gloria.

Mary Alice is survived by her sister Suzie Garza. She is also survived by 10 children and their spouses: Mary Alice Garcia, Mary Louise Perez, Carlos and Irene Gloria, Joe and Faye Gloria, Paul and Annie Gloria, Mary Veronica Gloria, Thomas Eloy Gloria, Mary Martha and Walter Primerano, Martin and Betty Gloria, Moses Gloria.

20 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, 1 great great-great-grandchild.

Mary Alice was fast-paced, tenacious with life and love. Most of all, her faith and trust in God. There is no doubt that our Lord Jesus welcomed her with open arms saying, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”—Matthew 25:21
