Sr. Mary Anne Hollmann, C.V.I.

She entered the Congregation of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament on June 9, 1946. Sister taught school in the Houston, Baytown and Port Arthur area. A comment from a former student, "Sister was tough but fair." In 1975 she entered parish ministry at St. Mary Church in La Porte, Texas. After eight years of service, Sister went to Our Lady of Lourdes in the Hitchcock and Santa Fe area where she served until Retirement.

Sister's survivors include a number or cousins, nieces , nephews and many friends.

Visitation for the deceased will be held at Incarnate Word Convent Chapel, 3400 Bradford Place, Houston, Texas, on Sunday, February 2, 2014 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by the Wake Service. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at the Convent Chapel on Monday, February 3, 2014 with Rev. Albert Gaelens, C.S.B. Rite of Committal will follow at Garden of Gethsemane at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
