Mary L. Doiron Neveu, age 91, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Mary was born on July 13, 1929. Mary was her family’s biggest cheerleader. Encouraging and supporting them as they navigated through their own life’s journey. God and family were her priorities. She loved to travel! It began with her honeymoon to Mexico. Her fondness for travel didn’t waiver even after having 5 children! She would pack them all in the car and off they went, even cross-country trips! Her favorite trips were to Paris, Greece, Alaska and Rome were with her husband Joseph. It was always such a joy to hear of the strangers she would meet on their travels who by the end of the trip were friends.
Mary worked in the medical profession as an x-ray technician and a medical assistant for a Urologist. She and her husband Joseph shared almost 68 wonderful years of marriage at the time of his passing.
Mary is survived by son John and wife Terry, daughter Annette Nelson and husband Dean, daughter’s-in-law Josephine, wife of Michael, Judy, wife of Mark and Renee, wife of Mathew. She is also survived by sisters Josephine, Norma, Glenora and brother Martin and grandchildren, A’ngela, Nicholas, Ian, (Michael & Josephine’s children), Christopher and Tiffany (Mark & Judy’s children), Lori (Mathew’s daughter), Brittney and Lindsey (Mathew & Renee’s daughters), Jessica, Nicole, Joseph (John’s children), Andrew and Julia (John & Terry’s children), Austin and Sean (Annette & Dean’s sons). Mary also leaves behind her great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her sons Michael, Mark, and Mathew, her parents, a brother and a sister.
Mary was a Faithful servant of the Lord and accepting of what challenges were presented to her in life. She would often say “I just go along with the plan, may not know what it is but it’s God’s plan and just have to accept it”. She is free and leaves her Earthly home to be with the Lord in her Eternal Home.
