Michele Fe McDonnell-Lillja

Michele Fe McDonnell-Lillja, 56, passed away March 24, 2010. She was born in Detroit, Michigan July 10, 1953. Michele attended St. Hillary Catholic School in Detroit and graduated from Bishop Borgess High School in 1971. She later graduated from University of Houston with a Business Management degree. Michele worked most of her professional life with Southwestern Bell/ATT and retired in 2000. Michele belonged to the American Society for Industrial Security and was a Certified Protection Professional. She was married June 28, 1986 to her husband of 24 years Charles B. Lillja. A big part of her life revolved around her church and schools. Both her sons attended St Frances de Sales Catholic School and her oldest son graduated from Strake Jesuit High School and her youngest son will be graduating this year. She always supported her husband with the Boy Scouts of America. She is preceded in death by her father, Michael P. McDonnell. Michele is survived by her Mother, Allie T. McDonnell; Husband Charles B. Lillja; Sons, Christopher C. Lillja and Daniel P. Lillja; and Brother, Michael McDonnell. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris St. Bellaire, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Friday March 26, 2010 at St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church, 8200 Roos Rd. The Rite of Committal will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery
