Minash Mayants passed away in the afternoon on Thursday, July 16, 2020.
Minash Mayants was born in Gomel (in current Belarus) in The Soviet Union on July 3, 1933 to Lisa and Benjamin Mayants. Later in his life, he immigrated to America and Houston was lucky to have his technological skills in our city. Minash married Bella Minevich, the love of his life. They had two children, Svetlana and Alexander, who gave them three wonderful grandchildren.
Minash is survived by his wife, Bella Mayants; his daughter Svetlana Poretsky and her husband, Victor; his son Alexander Mayants; and his three wonderful grandchildren, Michelle Poretsky, Jenny Sanchez and her husband Carlos Sanchez, and Valeria Mayants.
The Graveside Service will be private. However, it will be streamed via Facebook Live at 10:00 am on Sunday, July 19.
