

Chris was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Mildred and is survived by son Christopher Mogannam and wife Beatriz, daughter Juliette Morrow and husband John, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Chris was born in Jaffa, Palestine On May 2, 1932 and came to the United States in 1951 to join his father and older brothers in San Francisco, California. Chris served proudly in the United States Army and upon completion of duty, met and married the love of his life, Mildred Cox Mogannam, in Augusta, Georgia.
Over the course of his lifetime, Chris owned several businesses, was a dance instructor and choreographer, and finished his career as a leader for Brown Shoe Company which brought him to Houston, Texas, in 1976. Chris was a lifetime member of the Orthodox church and served at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in San Francisco, California and also served on the board and as treasurer of St. George Orthodox Church in Houston for numerous years. He also was a founding member of the Forty Holy Martyrs of Sebaste Orthodox Church in Sugar Land, Texas.
Services will be held at St. George Orthodox Christian Church, 5311 Mercer St., Houston, Texas on Saturday, December 18th with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m.
