Nan Elster

Nan Elster, age 81, passed away peacefully at home Monday, September 13, 2010. “Mother Nan” as she was lovingly called by many enjoyed working at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, which became more of a hobby. She also loved spending time with her family.

Nan is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Elster Johnson and her husband Jimmy; son, Bruce Elster and his wife Sally; grandchildren, Blayne Elster, Caitlin Johnson, Christin Johnson, and Jimmy Johnson, Jr.

Friends are invited to Visitation with the family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 16, 2010, at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 17, 2010, at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
