NANCY JUDITH POAGE, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on November 9, 2010. She was married to a loving husband Jack Alan Poage since June 2, 1979. Both Jack and Nancy enjoyed the Texas Longhorns football games and spent many weekends in Austin. In Houston, they enjoyed watching Oiler games on Sunday. Nancy graduated from St. Agnes Academy in 1961. She was then drawn to caring for others and became employed by four different physicians until 1969. She attended San Jacinto College, later enlisted in UT nursing school and graduated in 1974. Nancy was employed by four different hospitals each in a different specialty. She ended her Nursing career in 1985.
Nancy is survived by her beloved husband, Jack; stepdaughter, Kathryn J. Scrivner and her son Brian of Houston; And numerous other loving relatives in League City and in Kentucky.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2010, at San Jacinto Memorial Park, 14659 East Freeway, Houston, TX 77015.
