Nancy was the daughter of Edward and Elsa Little from Granite City, Illinois. Nancy, a former Kilgore Rangerette at Kilgore College, met the love of her life, Jack Thompson, a basketball player at Kilgore College. Nancy and Jack married on August 26,1961 and enjoyed a long life together, full of love, laughter, family and travel.
Nancy was a chair-side dental assistant for many years and worked for many influential dentists throughout the Houston area.
Nancy’s family was her greatest accomplishment, and meant the world to her, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. You could always find her cheering them on whether it be in a gym, on a soccer field, or sitting on a bleacher at a baseball field. There was nowhere else she would rather be. She would travel anywhere at anytime to watch them play.
Nancy’s love of her Catholic faith brought her to join the Diocesan Choir of Houston, which she traveled the world singing in some of the most beautiful and iconic churches around the world. One of her greatest joys, was singing in front of and for Pope John Paul II.
Nancy never met a stranger. She was loving, graceful, courteous, thoughtful, respectful, and always had a smile on her face. She loved with all her heart, always putting her children and family before her needs.
