Born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Nancy was the daughter of John Dudley and Melbaa Bibb. After World War II, she moved to Houston, where her father was called to work as director of the Memorial Baptist Hospital, now known as Memorial Hermann.
Nancy worked as a librarian for Baylor College in Waco where she met her soon-to-be husband, Joe Yeary, of Karnes City, TX.
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Joe Yeary. She is survived by her sons, Richard Yeary and David Yeary, her grandson Nicholas Yeary, and sister, Susan Ryman,
Nancy enjoyed gardening.
She was a member of Willow Meadow Baptist Church since 1960.
Nancy was grateful to Cary Yeary and Cynthia Naples for being the daughters she never had.
