Nina F. Faulkner, born January 13, 1941, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 16, 2018. A graduate of Bellaire High School and the University of Texas, Austin, her life revolved around her church and spreading its teachings, keeping up with family and friends, gifting them with her creative “sticker pictures,” speaking Spanish and playing the piano.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine Rosenfeld Faulkner and Oscar Curtis Faulkner. She is survived with love by her sister, Jean Bryan, brother-in-law, R. Nick Bryan, nephew Robert (Bobby) Bryan (wife Jamie Lambert) and niece Julie Nicole Bryan (husband Brian Hall) and their children, Nevin and Bailey Hall, many cousins as well as other relatives, and a special aunt, Aunt Julia. Grateful thanks to all staff at St. Dominic Village Nursing Home and Houston Hospice. Heartfelt thanks to loyal, loving friends, Marlene McKee and Patti and Jim Fox. Deep thanks to Gloria Johnson and Rutha Thompson who were there from the beginning, always caring and going “the extra mile.”
A memorial service will be held at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home located at 4525 Bissonnet St., Bellaire, TX 77401 on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
