Patricia Ann Broussard

Patricia Ann Broussard was born on July 28, 1930 in La Grange, Texas and passed peacefully on November 22, 2010 at the age of 80 in College Station. She is preceded in death by her parents Lillian and Fred Pape of La Grange and Houston, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Joe A. Broussard Jr., sister Mary Jo Fields, sons Joe A. Broussard III, Fred W. Broussard, grandsons, Joe A. Broussard IV, Tom Broussard, granddaughter, Lillian Sophia Broussard, nieces, Debbie Broussard and Debbie Armstrong, daughters in-law, Guadalupe Broussard and Sally Broussard, and many loving cousins. Patricia Ann Broussard went to school at Sacred Heart Catholic School in La Grange, Texas before moving to Houston, Texas were she attended St. Anne’s Catholic School on Westheimer and was a graduate of St. Agnes Catholic High School in 1947. She met the love of her life Joe A. Broussard Jr. at the age of fifteen and after dating for four years they got married at St. Pius Catholic Church in Pasadena, Texas on August 6, 1949. She worked for over twenty years at South Main State Bank and retired as Vice President. Her hobbies included bowling, cooking, camping and fishing.

Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 26, 2010, at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris, Bellaire, TX 77401. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 6921 Chetwood Dr., Houston, TX 77081. Rite of Committal will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Houston,TX.
