Ricardo Joaquin Diez Hidalgo (aka Ricardo Diez), age 72, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, May 18, 2019, at Houston Methodist Hospital surrounded by his family. Ricardo had been battling an acute form of leukemia for months and suffered from other ailments for over three years.

He deeply respected President Ronald Reagan and admired St. Teresa of Calcutta even more.
Originally born in Mexico City, Mexico, Ricardo completed his degree in law at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 1970. Before his retirement, he was a partner of Curtis Mallet-Prevost Colt & Mosle L.L.P. in the Corporate International Dept.
