Richard "Dick" J. Critelli

RICHARD JOSEPH CRITELLI passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, January 23, 2011 in Webster, Texas. He was born on July 3, 1928 in Utica, New York. Richard was employed by General Electric for 21 years, leaving after the Apollo Space Program. He then went on to become a prominent independent real estate broker in the Clear Lake area where he owned Dick Critelli Real Estate for more than 40 years.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Lena and Dominick Critelli and sister Mary Maurice. He will be greatly missed by many including Antoinette, his loving wife of 61 years, his five children and their spouses Richard Barry Critelli, Camille and her husband Kenneth Goodwin, Donna Marie and her husband Douglas Jackson, Brian and his wife Sheryl, Lisa Ann and her husband Steven Tice; his grandchildren that he loved and was so very proud of Kristopher Critelli, Joshua and wife Stephanie Critelli, Barrett and wife Amy Cleveland, Courtney and Amanda Critelli, Amber and Hollie Tice; great grandchildren Lorelei, Carmine and Ciana Critelli, Michael and Addison Cleveland. He also leaves behind brother Louis Critelli and wife Lee, sisters Gloria Giglio, Patty and husband Anthony Calenzo of Utica, NY, sister Deanna Still of Nacogdoches, Texas.

The family will receive visitors from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Rosary at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 27th at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 15500 El Camino Real, Houston, Texas 77062. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 28th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernadette followed by interment at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Dickinson, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Richard’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942
