I am so saddened to hear of Ron's passing. I had a great honor of working with him on some of his videos. I loved to hear about his books from him. He had so much depth and that smile.. well it could light up a room. We both went independent around the same time and he as so supportive. He will be so dearly missed.

My most sincere condolences to all who loved him.

Ron, I did not know you well, but you certainly knew my late husband, Jim Woods very well and captured his personality and leadership style as CEO in the book you wrote about Baker Hughes, Inc. It is a beautifully written book and one I will always cherish. Thank you again.
My condolences to your family.

Ron always brought joy to every situation. I was fortunate to work with him not only at Baker Hughes but also at Alcoa, Dover, and SEF Energy through his writing for us at each of these companies. He was a gifted writer as well as someone that could develop a great story simply from interviewing a disparate group. I was always so appreciative of the work he did but also the impact he had on all those around him. My prayers to the family....Ron will be greatly missed.

Dear Connie and Family,
We heard of Ron's passing and our prayers are with you. I don't know if you remember me, but I was the children's ministry director at Pines Presbyterian Church when your boys were young. I am still here as a pastor and am keeping you in my prayers. God's peace to all of you.

What a shock to hear of Ron's passing !. Please accept my deepest sympathies. Ron and I go back about 25 years through business. I also had the pleasure of reading two or three of his books.

We occasionally met for lunch through the years and I always enjoyed the conversation and Ron's unique perspective on events and life in general.

Please include me when the date and time for Ron's memorial is set up.

Thank you.

I knew Ron for thirty years through Baker Hughes. When I left in 2016 he introduced me to Qittitut Consulting and most recently he did consulting work in the company I now work for PV Fluid Products. We had recently been discussing his next visit to us in the next couple of months. I am originally from Scotland and appreciated Ron's creativity, wit and sense of humor. Ron and I ended up both playing guitar in separate acts a few years ago in the BHI version of the gong show. I tuned his guitar for him and from that day we viewed each other differently; not as BHI employees but as fellow guitar players. I was very sad to hear that he passed away.

I am shocked and heart broken. Ron was one of a kind and had a way of letting each and every one of us feel like we were his close friend! He was one of the most intelligent, kindest, and humble individuals I have known throughout the 40 years in this industry, and I will miss him. Hugs and prayers to Connie and his sons who he was so very, very proud of.
