Dear Scott Family,
My name is Claire Townsend. You probably do not remember me, but I was Sam's classmate and friend at Condit Elementary, and I am the daughter of Mrs. Townsend, his music teacher. Although I had not talked to Sam since those elementary years, I have always remembered him as a genuine, hilarious, and kind person. My mom remember his part in the school musical as "the man who couldn't lie." :) She and I offer our deepest condolences. Be comforted in knowing that his soul rests in a better place, full of love and laughter.

Dearest Family and Especially Amy,

I hope you find comfort in knowing that complete strangers have you in their thoughts and prayers.

May the day soon come when you are so preoccupied with the blessings of Our Father that you no longer recall the sorrow of today. (Inspired by Ecclesiastes 5:20)

Sincerest condolences,

Then the Lord called Samuel...Samuel answered, “Here I am.”(1 Sam 3:4)

Dear Scott Family, I know your pain. "Look up" it is the only way HE can dry your tears." Samuel's smile was surely missed in Heaven. You WILL see him again. I promise.

I don't understand why it was Sam's time to go at age 18. But I do know many, many memories and stories will always go on. He left a big footprint because he cared deeply for so many. Missed, gone, but never forgotten. Thoughts and prayers to Wes, Jon, and all Sam's relatives.

I don't know the Scott family, but I have (4) boys and it is imaginable to think of them not being here-(Sam looks like one of my sons) I sit here with tears streaming down my face, reading this obituary. It is such a heartwrenching loss that your family will have to endure. To Sam's girlfriend-My condolences to you. I'm sure that you had planned a life with Sam and now you are left with "what if". My heart goes out to you along with my prayers.
