She was born in Houston, Texas on November 9, 1920 to Morris and Sadie Gordon.
She married Lee Ducoff at the tender age of 16. He passed away in 1983 after 47 years of wedded bliss.
Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great -great-grandmother. She loved life, had many close friends, was the life of the party, and always was the best dressed. All of us will miss her greatly.
She is survived by her children, Gordon (Elizabeth) and Russell (Nancy); her grandchildren, Scott Ducoff (Laura), Tracy Gipson (Boyd), Nick Ducoff(Elizabeth), Kevin Ducoff, Barbara Graham, and David Graham ; her great-grandchildren, Johnathan Ducoff, Taylor Ducoff(Maggie), Kristyn Jordan(Morgan); and her great- great-granddaughter, Olivia Ducoff.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday May 28, 2013 at 11:15 AM at Congregation Emanu El, 1500 Sunset Blvd, Houston, Texas 77005 with a luncheon to follow.
