I will always miss you Walter I just wish your last months I could get in touch with you and your family. I would like to hear from the family as well as I was in the process of writing a book on our travel. Patrick.Mullings@gmail.com

Walter, my friends and I will miss you at our Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. But I will miss most the many conversations we had over the 16 years of being neighbors and friends. I am sorry you did not get to do all the things you had planned but you led a good life and that is what is important at the end.

Thanks for your note, Gwen.....can you share with us what caused Walter's death? When I corresponded with him, he was planning on building another home overlook Bull Creek and seemed excited about that....R. O.

Dear Gwyn, My deepest sympathy to you and Jerry's two sons. I don't know the young men, but I remember you very well from the days we worked together at the American Bank. Walter and I were friends when he lived in Beaumont. Bill Johnson - SPHS class of 1945

Dearest Ada Gwyn and the White family,
Patsy and I are saddened to learn of Walter's death....we have many great memories of our days at UT...Longhorn Band.....going to get fried chicken on Manor Road after the home games, etc.....we had made contact with him after we bought in Austin, but never heard back from him....our prayers and thoughts are with each of you at this very sad time of your lives....seems so strange that our friends, Jerry and his wife and now Walter, are gone to "prepare a place" for us.....take care...we send our love to each of you.... Patsy and R. O. Williams, Jr.
