William Timothy O’Donnell was the youngest son of Roy and Anita Hebert O’Donnell. He is survived by his beloved wife Vickey O’Donnell of almost 26 years; son William Shannon O’Donnell and wife Maryrose; stepdaughter Charlotte Bardin and husband Jimmy. Tim will be forever remembered by his brothers Richard and Harry O’Donnell. He had 4 grandchildren Kyle, Mikayla, Stephanie, James; a great grandson Braddigan and his beloved dog Bonnie Belle.
Tim grew up in Houston, Texas. He went to Bellaire High School. In the early 1960’s Tim began his professional career selling residential hardware to home builders. During the Vietnam War, Tim enlisted into the United States Marine Corps in 1962 to 1967. After leaving the military, Tim continued his career and went to work for Century Hardware where he sold commercial grade door hardware on a large scale to Century Development, Greenway Development, Transco Tower, Penzoil and many other customers. In 1994, he changed jobs for the last time and spent the following 18 years working for Acme Architectural Hardware where he seemed to reignite his passion for sales and service.
What Tim cherished the most was his family and friends. He always had a special heart for the military and cherished the time he served in the Marine Corps. He is truly proud of his son’s service in the Navy of 20 years, working as a Hospital Corpsman with the Marine Corps and also his son in law Colonel Jimmy Bardin currently serving in the U.S. Air Force. Tim will be truly missed by his grandchildren whom he fondly watched grow through the years. He also loved and cared dearly for his dogs, Bootsy, whom is now with him and is leaving behind Bonnie Belle with his beloved wife Vickey.
Those who had known Tim, knew that he loved cars and had a passion for restoring older cars. You couldn’t find a cleaner car in Texas once you saw one of Tim’s cars! His friends, co-workers and customers will miss him dearly because of the impact he had in each of their lives. His caring and thoughtful heart will not be forgotten and will eternally be missed
