Willie “Bill” Clinton Avery, 90, was born in a rural community, near Mt. Pleasant Texas on October 28, 1919. He passed from this life on July 10, 2010. Bill was a faithful member and former elder of the Westbury Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his daughter Patricia Anne Jacobs. Bill is survived by his wife Mary Anne Avery; daughter, Pamela Sue Ellis and husband Ken of Lebanon, OH; son, Thomas Clinton Avery of Dallas, TX; grandsons, Michael Jacobs, Matthew Jacobs, and Justin Ellis; granddaughters, Annika Stillwell, Kendra Zickafoose; great-granddaughters, Breanna Jacobs, Emma Zickafoose, Kate Zickafoose, and Kinley Jacobs; great-grandsons, Brady Jacobs, Jack Zickafoose, Sylas Stillwell, and Dylan Jacobs; and sister, Ruby Hunt. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris St. The Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment will be 2:30 p.m. Monday July 19, 2010 at Houston National Cemetery.
