

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She worked at Belleville Shoe Factory, S.A.V.E. and Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, retiring at the age of 75.
She especially enjoyed going to the Casino Queen and gardening.
Anna was always a kind friend, very compassionate and generous to all.
Preceded in death by her parents , Peter Matthew and Hallie Alberta, nee Arrtington, Schwahn; her brothers, James Schwahn, Vernon (Wanda) Schwahn, Billy Schwahn, and Dale (Gail) Schwahn; and her sisters, Mary Ellen (Ed) Keller, Rosalie (John) Held, Bonnie Schwahn, and Dorothy “Dot” (John) Grebeck.
Surviving are her husband, Robert J. Johnson of Belleville, Ill.; her children, Judy (James) Lynch of Freeburg, Ill., Susan Johnson of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Robert (Mary) Johnson of Belleville, Ill., Merry (Michael) Stempel of Mascoutah, Ill.; her grandchildren, James (Kristy) Lynch, Shane, Shannon, and Joshua Clements, Jerry Lynch, Cassie (Justin) Friederich; her great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; her brother, Donnie (Kathy) Schwahn; her sister, Gerry Whittier; many nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Ida.
